Olá, I’m Carrie.

I'm a Product & UX/UI Designer who likes figuring out why people do the things they do, and turning that insight into design that makes sense.

With 9 years of experience across product, UX/UI, brand, graphic design and motion, I work at the intersection of how something works, how it feels and how people understand it.

I'm fascinated by human behaviour, psychology and the little things that influence what people notice, trust, choose and do.

Basically: I like making complicated things feel simple.

Abstract colorful geometric shapes including yellow wavy lines, a multicolored circle segment, blue triangle, pink semi-circle, white circle, and orange arch on a purple background.

I start with people.

Good design isn't just about making something look good.

It's about understanding what someone is trying to do, what’s getting in their way, and what will make the next step feel obvious.

That's why I naturally think about:

Thought

What does someone need,
want or understand?

Behaviour

What are they actually doing?

Action

How do we make the next step obvious?

What does that look like in practice?

Whether I'm untangling a complicated product, shaping a brand, designing an interface or bringing an idea to life through motion, I look at the bigger picture.

How does it work?

Is it intuitive, functional and built around what people actually need?

How does it feel?

Does it create the right emotions, build trust and make people want to keep going?

How will people understand it?

Is the message clear, the journey obvious, and the value instantly recognisable?
